 During a conformation show or breed show, judges familiar with specific breeds evaluate individual dogs for how well they conform to standards of the breed. Our run-thrus are designed to teach basic show ring information. Some of the skills taught are stacking (setting up the dog for judging so their stance is perfect when the judge views them), talking to judges, learning the proper speed to enhance your dog's gate, and grooming. You will also learn what to take to a show and what to expect at a match or a show.
 Bitches in season are not permitted in the building.
Showing dogs can be a thrilling competition and can bring many hours of enjoyment and education! Handlers of all skill levels are welcome to participate in these conformation run-thrus.
Conformation run-thrus are held on most MONDAYS, 6:00-6:50 p.m.
and the cost is $5.00 per dog.
Monday, March 29th, 2010 is the last day conformation
run-thrus will be offered at Canine Action Sports.
